Feoleo88’s self-hatred is unpleasantly obvious. Like so many “progressives”, the idea of God (or most any authority) makes them frantic.

Note to “progressives”: freedom OF religion does not mean freedom FROM religion. This country was founded on those values. We govern and make laws based on them. You don’t have to be religious, but you DO have to accept those principles if you live here and enjoy their benefits. If that offends athiests and New Agers, they’re free to move elsewhere.

Unfortunately there are SO MANY politicians in the US who exploits the name of “God” for selfish gains such as: collecting money donations for enriching oneself, persecuting social groups they personally dislikes, making conservative laws to restrict progress such as blocking stemcell research (which potentially could save countless lives), etc..

iN one sweep by conveniently having “God” on his side, he has alienated ALL atheists, new age religions, multi-god believers, hindhus, buddhists etc who forms the melting-pot of the american society..

Hypocritic to say “..we don’t care about your origins..your religious origins..” and next say that “In God we trust.. no god, then rights can be taken away by people”

Self-contradiction will always be obvious when one has hidden selfish agendas..

Very convenient to use the word “God” to help him push anything he wishes to push..

The dangers of pushing agendas by using “God” word is that people like Prager can conveniently ignore the “why” and the “humanitarian logic” to justify their selfish aims..

Dennis Prager cannot adapt to the changing perceptions of the progressive human society, hanging on to every single silly bigoted self-important “we american” against them outsiders mindsets..

His stand-off-ish “we are great” attitude typically demonstrates why the US are so unpopular and hated by other nations..

The ones who resists the inevitable changes of society will make their offsprings suffers by lagging behind..

Dennis has pointed out that Religion tends to devolve into whatever society at-large wants it to be. The left since Marx trying to make everyone and everything be equal is impossible to achieve. It distorts arbitrarily our perception of the true playing field. The U.S. founding fathers did create a republic, and the people in general of those times had wisdom enough not to try to have a totalitarian state of democratic or egalitarian government rule.

Though Snopes …
Though Snopes disagrees as to the intent of the reintroduced legislation to repeal the 22nd Amendment (Prohibiting any President from serving more than two terms in office, Google: snopes, and search: H. J. Res. 5), in Obama’s case and the widespread belief that (unlike in the case of all preceding U.S. presidents) he is “the One,” meaning our Savior, I have to disagree with Snopes. There is now most likely a clear and present danger of the legislation being reintroduced having such intent.

Ultimately one must …
Ultimately one must grow to realize or become ones own Messiah or Savior (Jewish, Christian) or whatever one believes in if one disavows religious sectarianism. Ironically, it is the same if one is an atheist. The thing is, there is no way in this world to make everyone be equal. No U.S. President is the One who can do that.
