What is the oldest university in Europe?


I double-checked in The Oxford Dictionary of English (revised edition), and the University of Bologna is the oldest in EUROPE. It began in the 11th century.

This is by no means a definative answer, but I think it is Charles University in Prague Czech Republic.

It is University of Bologna. In Italy. Trust me I looked it up on Wikipedia.
