University applications?

I hear you have to apply early, but what exactly is applying? What information is needed? I won’t even be done grade 12 so how will they know to accept me or not?
shannon im in grade 11 lol… im just planning ahead

You apply for college your senior year. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t graduated because it’s assumed if you’re thinking about college, you’re graduating High School or getting a GED.

You get an application and fill out what they ask of you. You can either get a paper application or do one online. You have to take either the SAT or the ACT and that test will determine, or help to, whether or not you get accepted into University and what kind of financial aid you get. They also decide on your GPA, extra cirricular activities and a personal essay on whatever topic they tell you.

I’m surprised no one’s told this already and you’re a senior in high school. That’s very strange. I suggest you talk to your guidance counselor.
