London, England travel. We visit St. Paul's Cathedral, one of the iconic figures of the London skyline. This is one of the largest churches in the world, although there's an issue as to whether the place is a 'church' or 'cathedral' or 'basicala' etc. In any case, this place is impressive! They're not too keen on filming, so less than ideal photography. More than a day trip from Thornbury Castle, and certainly worth the travel! Trafalgar Square and the statue of Lord Nelson in London, England. Trafalgar Square is a square in London that commemorates the Battle of Trafalgar (1805), a British naval victory of the Napoleonic Wars according to Wikipedia. Sir Edwin Landseer's Lions guard the outside diagonals of Nelson's Column. Much more interesting in person than in a written description; hopefully this video gives you a feel for the place. Tower of London. Actually a series of towers surrounded by a double wall. Officially called "Her Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress The Tower of London", more commonly known as the Tower of London.
