Acadia’s Faculty of Arts offers undergraduate degree programs with some graduate programs. These emphasize the development of individual thought, orderly research methods, the ability to write carefully and clearly, and the opportunity of better understanding of different opinions. With small class sizes, Acadia’s Arts students have the opportunity to develop close relationships with their fellow professors and fellow classmates in a technology enhanced learning environment.

Admissions Video for The Storm King School is an independent boarding and day school located in the Hudson Valley in New York State, overlooking the Hudson River and just 60 miles north of Manhattan. The mission of the school is to inspire students toward academic strength and confidence with a caring faculty in a community that embraces character, wellness and trust.
The School accepts students for grades eight through twelve, and places a special emphasis on the performing and visual arts. The school also offers its “Mountain Center,” a school within a school that provides an learning environment for those students with learning differences. The school is a part of NAIS, and fields fourteen teams in nine sports.

Programming takes on a personal meaning for students at Stetson. The sophomore students change the way people interact online with our campus, thanks to their work in Dr. Dan Plante’s Software Design Class. This application will be used by visitors, students, faculty and staff, thanks to a one-of-a-kind partnership with Stetson, AT&T and Apple. Stetson purchased an iPhone for each student in the class.
