Ex Husband? My soon to be ex husband when born had a double hernia. The doctor never told his parents that he could not have kids. We tried for a while about 2 years before giving up. I knew it wasnt me because i had a child from a previous relationship. I have been to a doctor and she said it wasnt because of me i am fine to have kids. I had also read that after a hernia a man usually couldnt have kids anymore. Am i right in thinking this? or could this be grounds for an anullment? We have almost been married 3 years.
Divorce is because of some problems that arent going to be resolved he has been gone since april no contact with him since june he has been cheating before he left and after so i dont think there is any chance of reconciling on either part

Sounds like your mind is already made up.

I would suggest marriage counseling first.
your husband (soon to be ex) probably feeling pretty depress
and going through a lot because he can’t get you pregnant.
Sometimes men do stupid things, not realizing what’s good for them. I’d say counseling, do you still love him? References :

You are right, there is no reconciling. His cheating alone, ended your relationship. Now that he has abandoned you, your marriage is over. Good thing, you didn’t have children with this man, he’s not a stand up guy. I hope that your child hasn’t been too hurt by him leaving, but you need to be strong for the both of you and move on. the hernia is not the issue and is no excuse.
Because of the way he has been acting you what to leave him, then do it, don’t make any excuses like the fact he can’t have any kids, there are alwys ways to deal with that.
from the sound of things, you are not looking for answers here, just support for what you’ve already decided to do. References :

what you need to do is go to a lawyer and ask if this is grounds for an anullment. When someone is deceptive and says oh i can have kids and then later is found out not to be true that is marriage based on a lie and that can be grounds for an anullment References :
