My friend sent a rude email to a college admission counselor can she get in trouble?

My friend visited a college and she felt she was lied to and tricked and she sent a rude email to the admissions counselor and they called her back about the email.

Seeing as they have called her back about the email – don’t you know the answer already?

They will either deal with her complaint or tell her to get lost.

No

Worst case scenario is she won’t get accepted

Okay, I’ll bite.

Just what exactly do you think they can do to her?

This oughta be good.

Admissions counselors don’t have time for that, they won’t
even think twice of it. Like one answer mentioned, she just
won’t get accepted. They might keep it on file unless your
friend gets really good grades.

Hopefully she’ll get into serious trouble. That is stupid and childish beyond words. She’s going to have a very hard life ahead. That’s not the way to handle any situation.

If she didn’t actually threaten them I can’t imagine how she could get into "trouble". However, I do seriously doubt she will get into this college.
As with letters and other archaic forms of correspondence, it’s better to "sleep on it" before firing off an angry email.

no she absolutley cannot get in trouble. they were prob calling to discuss the email and maybe work out a solution or maybe she felt guilty and wanted to clear things up. You cant get in trouble for emails like that because ur almost like a customer of the college who their trying to recruit and take money from. Dont worry!

I’m sure they’re used to nasty emails from rude students. They’ll look into it, pretend like they care and move on.
