if you study at an international college and transfer your last semester before graduating to a US university. on your diploma would it say you graduated from an American university and the only way anyone would know different is to look at transcripts. Like if you studied at American university Cairo and transferd to Harvard or Yale or a school like that wouldn’t you have technically graduated for one of these schools and it would be easier to find a job instead of having an AUC diploma upon graduation.

Yes it does, it would say you graduated at the American university. But it’s not that simple. Not all credits you’ve earned may be transferable so most likely you will end up spending more than a semester at the university you are transferring to. Also many universities require transfer students to take a certain amount of credits before they can graduate at that university, usually at least a year or so. This is the reason why many universities don’t even accept seniors. So graduating in just one semester at the new University is highly unlikely.

It can be done in the US. Check, however if the pharmacy school in Canada to which you would like to attend will accept all of the US credits./

I want to major in Journalism and will apply to some Universities this August, in US and maybe in Aussie and Singapore too but i would consider to study in US with a suitable fee. I think only State Schools will be the best ones as their school fees are not too expensive. So, if anyone of you knows about this, please give me some advices.

I also want to know this, what is the difference between Bachelor of Journalism and Bachelor of Literature-English? Or is there any difference between them?

Schools in New York are pretty good for Journalism, especially Columbia, though that’s a private school and quite expensive. Their journalism grad school is really famous.

The difference between journalism and literature is that in journalism, you’d study how to write for a news publication. In lit, you’d study other people’s writing and write essays about that.

I know St. George has a better reputation; but I’d just like some idea of how the two compare to universities in the US… Please, I’d like to hear from someone who know’s what he/she is talking about!
